Underwriting Support Analyst - About the role
Do you have the experience or ambition to provide analytical support in a commercial underwriting environment?
My client are currently recruiting for an Underwriting Support Analyst to join their vibrant, friendly and experienced Underwriting Team.
This role would suit either an experienced analyst or a new Graduate who is interested in developing a career in a professional and growing financial services organisation, and as the business goes through an exciting growth period, there will be lots of opportunities to get involved in other exciting projects.
Underwriting Support Analyst - Key duties
Providing support to the business by ensuring effective monitoring and reporting of data accuracy and financial performance on behalf of the Underwriting function,
You will present reports including KPI’s, performance against Budgets and overall Insurer delegated requirements
Ensuring all statutory and company regulations are followed to protect clients, colleagues, and the business interests of the company,
You will ensure the treat customers fairly (TCF) principals are fully understood and applied across all customers,
You will acquire, maintain, and record an accurate level of appropriate technical, product and regulatory knowledge and skill in accordance with the job role,
Ad-hoc duties determined by the demands of the business
Underwriting Support Analyst - Key requirements
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and a good understanding of MS word, Outlook,
You will be able to produce regular detailed financial reports
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, coupled with an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills,
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads efficiently and multi-task
Have a customer service driven attitude with a proactive approach
You will be a quick learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
