Data Analyst - About the role
This senior role within a growing MI function of a Lloyd’s broker will suit an experienced candidate with a good Insurance knowledge specifically within Commercial & Motor insurance. You will form part of a team to review, identify and design a wide package of reporting and provide key analysis to the senior management function.
Data Analyst - Key duties
Review current data capture and reporting processes
Design and build reporting suite for senior management
Work alongside key departments to improve sales data capture
Review pricing and provide performance feedback
Assist in the identification of pricing trends across various products
Design a reporting framework within the business
Automate current manual MI processes and improve efficiency
Data Analyst - Key requirements
Minimum 5 years’ insurance related data analyst experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to present work to the Executive team
Experience with database design
Experience with interactive dashboard design and build
Good knowledge of SQL Server and associated services
Strong PowerBI and Excel skills
Experience of data visualisation would be advantageous
