Senior Claims Handler / Claims Handler - About the role
Do you have solid Commercial insurance claims handling experience?
My client have space for experienced Commercial Insurance Claims Handlers to join their Claims Team.
The role is extremely customer focussed, requiring you to provide an excellent claims service to clients. Your proven claims handling experience will allow you to ensure professional and efficient management of all claims from cradle to grave, dealing with all different classes of business face to face (a mix of high net worth, SMEs, corporate etc), and presenting claims MI.
As the business goes through a period of growth, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in other exciting projects.
Senior Claims Handler / Claims Handler - Key duties
Managing claims from across different products, such as property & liability, ensuring service standards are met or exceeded,
Provide the broking department and clients with claims information and reports as required,
Ensure problem claims are handled as per the group procedures,
Acknowledge all new claims to both clients and insurers and keep clients informed, and ensure best outcome on each claim,
Produce claims MI/claims reports when required,
Meet with clients and present claims information when required,
Senior Claims Handler / Claims Handler - Key requirements
This role would suit a person who is keen to progress within insurance (who is either CII qualified or working towards), is a natural multi-tasker and well versed in commercial insurance claims handling. You will put the customer at the heart of everything you do, utilising know your customer (KYC) and treating customers fairly (TCF) methodologies, handling claims in line with compliance, FCA regulations and business policies & procedures.
You will have robust Commercial insurance claims handling experience, coupled with strong commercial awareness and full understanding of insurance claims procedures,
Acturis system knowledge (desirable not essential), being able to use MS Excel, MS word and Outlook,
