Sanctions Analyst - Contract Position

Sanctions Analyst - About the role

Keeping abreast of legislative changes as they affect both UK, EU and other international Sanctions regimes

Completing Compliance Risk Assessments in respect of Sanctions risks

Preparing reports on Sanctions findings and monitor progress and achievements to inform key stakeholders of the outcome of monitoring and review work

Production of high quality Management Information to include specialist reports as required

Monitoring changes to business practices and products to ensure that Compliance monitoring plans for Sanctions are adjusted adequately to cover them.

Investigation of Business Transactions for Sanctions Exposure

Review screened transactions output for Sanctions Exposure

Report Positive Results or other Suspicious activity to the Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager

Review Risks for possible AML and associated Risks

Advise Underwriters of their obligations to adhere to all Financial Crime Policies and Procedures which ensure that all underwritten risks adhere to applicable regulatory requirements.

Sanctions Analyst - Key requirements

Experience In Reviewing London Market Risks For Sanctions / AML

Use of Sanctions Screening Software (Worldcheck / Dow Jones)
