Management Information Analyst - About the role
To assist the MI Department by providing reports and relevant Management Information to all areas of the business.
Management Information Analyst - Key duties
Responsible for assisting with the provision of, or provision of such information as may be requested for, statutory and regulatory returns.
Assisting the timely production and distribution of the following:
Daily reporting suite electronically
Monthly reporting pack to the Executive Committee
Quarterly reporting of reserving data
Management of all reports using various reporting tools
Production of information to assist placement of Reinsurance programme
Provision of Ad-hoc reports when required
Ensuring that all reports and tasks are delivered in a timely fashion
The implementation of a new reporting system
Other projects as deemed appropriate by the MI Department
Management Information Analyst - Key requirements
Experience using SQL and related tools (e.g. SSIS, SSRS)
Experience in an MI/Data Analyst role
Proficient in the use of MS Office products particularly Excel with a sound knowledge of VBA and macros.
Knowledge of data warehouses and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau).
Be highly numerate and analytical with strong attention to detail in interpreting data and providing accurate analysis and high quality output.
