Junior Motor Technician – About the role

My client are a growing Lloyds Broker based within the City of London and are currently looking for an Account Handler / Motor Technician to join their Motor Fleet team. The successful candidate will provide assistance to the Senior Account Executives and deal with account management for a variety of our agents.

Junior Motor Technician – Key duties

Processing MTAs, Quarterly, Half Yearly or Annual Declarations and updating in-house client management systems on a daily basis

Requesting vehicle schedules, CCEs, and presentations from agents and insurers for new and existing cases

Preparing Renewal presentations for remarketing

Producing and sending invoices and policy documents to brokers

Referring drivers and vehicles outside policy restrictions to underwriters for approval and additional terms

Dealing with account queries from brokers

Chasing insurers and brokers for outstanding information and documents

Establishing and building relationships with insurers and brokers at corporate events

 

Junior Motor Technician – Key requirements

5 GCSE’s at Grades A-C including English and Maths (essential)

Insurance related qualifications e.g. CII (desirable)

Motor Fleet Insurance – Advantageous  

Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise own workload

Effective communication skills, both spoken and written

MS Office Skills (specifically Outlook, Word and Excel)
