Insurance Credit Control & Accounts Vacancies

My Essex based Insurance Company client currently have a number of vacancies for candidates with experience within Insurance Accounts (outline role profiles can be found below).

Credit Control - Wholesale

Key duties will include:

Billing & Collection of TIS (Wholesale) ledger; Reconciliation / allocation of monthly statements / receipts; Query management for disputed items; Analysis of aged debtors report to prioritise chase cycle; Maintaining good relationships with brokers; Liaise with Underwriting Department regarding high risk accounts; Monitoring potential bad debts

Key requirements include:

Minimum 2 years’ experience within credit control; Minimum 1 year working within insurance industry; Strong communication skills; Understanding of credit management and collection practises; Good Excel knowledge; Strong reconciliation skills; Good time management; Understanding of regulatory standards and practices; Strong negotiating skills; Ability to commercially view credit risk 

Insurer Settlements

Key duties will include:

Reconciliation and settlement of insurer accounts; Liaising with UW / Sales departments regarding queries; Ensuring month end reconciliations are within deadlines; Keeping settlements within agreed terms; Maintaining good insurer relationships; Responsible for petty cash fund and reconciliation

Key requirements include:

Minimum 2 years’ experience within a finance department; Strong reconciliation skills; Understanding of insurance broking / IBA accounts processes; Good Excel knowledge; Understanding of regulatory standards and practices; Good time management; Understanding of insurer credit terms
