Employee Relations Specialist – About the role

You will provide HR guidance / advice to both managers and employees on all people policies and processes; be responsible for providing detailed analysis and insight to support or employee relations process and for providing HR MI including all aspects of employee relations.

Employee Relations Specialist – Key duties

Provide coaching, advice and guidance on our people policies and processes to both line managers and employees

Monitoring of sickness absence and working closely with managers to facilitate a proactive approach to absence management

Advising managers on our Family friendly policies and supporting employees through relevant processes.

Conducting Exit Interviews, reviewing and analysing MI and providing feedback to the Senior HR team.

Reviewing and updating HR policies, processes and procedures in line with current employment legislation

Working with the wider HR team to support Managers with ER cases including investigation, disciplinary and grievance support.

Working with the HR Business Partners to support the continuous improvement of HR Practices, developing and implementing HR Policies, procedures and systems.

 

Employee Relations Specialist – Key requirements

  • Experience of handling employee relations issues
  • Working with a guiding managers on HR processes and procedures
  • Strong Excel competency
  • Experience of working in a shared services environment
  • Experience of working within financial services / insurance
