Data Analyst - Business Support Officer - About the role

This role is primarily responsible for managing complex data sets as part of ongoing and future projects, alongside working with prospective or existing client brands and their global supply networks.

You will be ambitious, results-driven, using first-class organisational and communication skills to assist with the development of our sustainable business programmes worldwide.

Data Analyst - Business Support Officer - Key duties

Take ownership of data sets using software to track and regularly report to the Account Manager.

Maintain the highest level of customer service when representing the organisation to stakeholders and ensure that all Sustainable Business Programmes’ policies and messaging has consistent technical content.

Take responsibility for systems and processes to ensure deadlines are met.

Provide support to colleagues within the team to help ensure consistently high standards of operation within the department.

Work collaboratively with other departments, and with global partners to further support the wider organisation and to further develop sustainable business programmes.

Ensure high quality and accurate records for all companies and communications are maintained, in compliance with relevant legislation.

Provide general support to the Account Manager and assist with other similar work as required.

Data Analyst - Business Support Officer - Key requirements

Exceptional organisational skills and ability to self-motivate.

Great interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with external partners and stakeholders.

Excellent IT skills with moderate to advanced level in Microsoft Excel - in practical terms (and as a good example) this means they need to know how to create and modify pivot tables and report data from them. They should be familiar with VLOOKUP, INDEX, and MATCH Excel functions.

Previous experience in either data entry role or niche administrative role is likely scenario, with the ability to review and assure quality of one’s own work.

Demonstrate they are an adaptable and a proactive problem solver.

Willingness to travel within the UK and to work across global time zones.

Commitment to, and keen interest in, animal welfare and the objects of the organisation.
