Credit Controller - Key duties

Reconciliation / allocation of monthly statements / receipts

Query management for disputed items

Analysis of aged debtors report to prioritise chase cycle

Maintaining good relationships with brokers

Liaise with Underwriting Department regarding high risk accounts

Monitoring potential bad debts

Credit Controller - key requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience within credit control & a minimum 1 year working within insurance industry

Strong communication skills

Understanding of credit management and collection practises

Good Excel knowledge

Strong reconciliation skills

Good time management

Understanding of regulatory standards and practices

Strong negotiating skills

Ability to commercially view credit risk
