Credit Control Assistant - About the role

My client are a fast-growing Insurance Managing General Agent (MGA) specialising in a diverse range of insurance products. They now have a new role for a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Control Assistant to join their team.

Credit Control Assistant – Key duties

Monitoring and managing customer accounts to ensure timely payments.

Communicating with clients regarding outstanding invoices and payment terms.

Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.

Supporting the finance team with administrative tasks and data entry.

Maintaining accurate records of transactions and customer interactions, cash posting and allocations

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to encourage prompt payment.

Resolution of policy queries and liaise with the Operations team for timely correction and turn around

Credit Control Assistant – Key requirements

Previous experience in insurance credit control, insurance operations or accounts receivable within the insurance sector

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
