Counter-Fraud Business Manager - About the role

To support the technical performance of counter-fraud from pre-sale to claim through continuous improvement of tools, processes and techniques based on market, legal and technical knowledge and provide business ownership for relevant supply chain contracts and external counter-fraud agencies.

Counter-Fraud Business Manager - Key duties

Champion the company’s zero tolerance approach to external insurance fraud.

Understand the business results and take anticipative or remedial action in relation to counter-fraud and external influences within this.

To provide technical guidance relating to counter-fraud and oversee processes with technical or financial implications.

Make recommendations to internal stakeholders and engage with brokers as required to achieve optimal counter-fraud outcomes.

Support the Heads of function in leveraging commercial advantage in relation to counter-fraud. To research market, legal and technical developments ensuring that recommendations are compliant with relevant internal policies and external legal or regulatory requirements.

To oversee counter-fraud management information and analytics, working with the operational service delivery owners and stakeholders to enhance and monitor this, analyse performance, troubleshoot and share insights.

Provide technical performance management for counter-fraud including ownership of its supply chain contracts and external counter-fraud agencies.

Understand and respond to business results, market, legal and technical developments for counter-fraud.

Track and evolve management information making appropriate recommendations for improvements. Make submissions to internal committees.

Manage the optimal financial performance of counter-fraud supply chain contracts.

Network across relevant markets to develop relationships for the benefit of the group.

Determine technical best practice on key issues in conjunction with relevant internal stakeholders.

Hold review meetings with counter-fraud supply chain partners and external counter-fraud agencies, ensuring that interfaces meet business requirements such as management information, standards adherence, performance and complaint resolution.

Coordinate such troubleshooting and issue resolution as may be required in relation to Policy and Claims counter-fraud.

Oversee such process changes as may impact financial performance and ensure that they are appropriately deployed into business as usual and documented.

Work in conjunction with the supplier audit function to provide adequate assurance over counter-fraud supplier performance.

Counter-Fraud Business Manager - Key requirements

Understanding of the business portfolio and knowledge of all products and classes of business.

Full knowledge of Service Provider product offerings.
