Digital Media Designer - About the role

My client are looking for a talented and ambitious Digital Designer to join their communications and branding team in London. You will work to ensure consistency of branding across the Group; developing and designing materials for both internal and external initiatives and communications.

In a business where nothing stays still for long, you will continually manage and adapt our look and brands as we grow globally, giving this newly created role huge scope for development and progression as we expand.

Job description:

Work to develop creative briefs for a variety of internal and external initiatives

Ensuring our brand guidelines are kept up to date and filtered through the business to ensure consistency and awareness

Work to ensure the collateral is continually updated

Working with newly acquired businesses to integrate branding/ re-brand to the Group style

Improve existing designs and collateral

Provide design support to other business lines to create graphics, logos, or other similar offline graphics

Advise colleagues on best practice on branding

Stay up to date with industry trends

What you'll be designing:


Design and build email templates and artwork which are used for our internal and external audiences


Design engaging assets to drive our social channels, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin


Working on multiple websites, including our intranet to keep them current

Web page layout

Adding new functionality as and when required


Designing and creating all event collateral including: merchandise, banners, stand designs, plus anything else

Help with adhoc PowerPoint presentations


Keeping literature designs consistent across the business in line with our Group style

Designing the monthly internal newsletter


Ad hoc video creation for internal and social media initiatives

About you

An excellent portfolio that demonstrates solid digital creative design

At least 2 years’ experience of working in an agency or internal design team

High levels of creativity and a relentless attention to details

Fluent in the Adobe Suite

Experience using content management systems

Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite software

Knowledge of web publishing best practice including SEO and accessibility

Ability to use programme languages such as HTML and CSS
